I'm Gabriella, but most people just call me Gaby. My last name? It’s a challenge for a lot of people, and if I got a new personality for every time it was mispronounced, I’d have hundreds by now. But I don’t mind, what really matters to me is how i transport ideas beyond words.
I am a Venezuelan illustrator based in Germany who explores daily life and feminist issues and her personal experience with migration, politics, and different cultures. Using a vibrant color palette and simple geometric forms, also connects with audiences with a bit of humor. My focus is to create accessible illustrations that encourage reflection on complex social and human topics. I mix digital techniques with traditional illustration, often inspired by risography, to produce clear yet open-to-interpretation images. My illustrations can make the reader feel like they belong.
